This tiny ivory statuette, barely 10 cm in height, is one of the few known surviving representations of Khufu, also known as Cheops, a 4th Dynasty pharaoh and builder of the Great Pyramid of Giza. As the earliest Pharaoh to build on the Giza plateau, he is sometimes attributed with the carving of the Great Sphinx of Giza.
