Head of Djedefre (Djedefra), Son of Khufu and 4th Dynasty Pharaoh

Although he built his own pyramid at Abu Rawash, it is known from inscriptions that Djedefre was involved in the construction of the Great Pyramid at Giza for his father Khufu.  His presence at Giza has led some researchers to suggest that he may also have been responsible for the construction of the Great Sphinx.
